When the winter arrives at home in Montana, I like to escape to some secluded saltwater. Every year I put together a limited number of departures to saltwater destinations that I have learned, based on experience, offer a complimentary experience to our Secluded Water trips in the US. On these special hosted trips, we stay at lodges to fish at prime time with guides we know can deliver an exceptional day on the water. Most of our departures are for fishing the flats, in places like the Bahamas, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, and plenty more.
Our favorite species to target are bonefish, tarpon, permit, snapper, barracuda — all the hardest-fighting species.
